I ordered one of these jackets last year to replace a feather one because I was fed up with getting feathers on my clothing, however when I received it I was not convinced it would be warm enough so returned it I then ordered a feather one but I ended up looking like the Michelin man it was rediculous so returned that one. In desperation I reordered one of these in a size ten and gave it a try and was so pleased I did because it is very warm. The only downside was when I put a thick fleece on underneath it, the jacket was too tight so I tried a soze 12 which is perfect for a thick fleece!!!!!!!! I am a size 10 so it has turned out to be a little expensive but buying two of these has cost the same as buying one feather and down jacket and they are just as warm.Purchased as a gift for my wife. She absolutely loves it fit is perfect length is excellent not too short not too long nice and light but proper winter coat jackettop quality as you would expect at this price but you get what you pay for excellent.Brilliant coat, defiantly keeps you warm even with minimal clothing on underneath, just wish it was a bit more waterproof, it is shower proof. But caught out in the rain in Wales, just started to seap through.Love this coat- so lovely and warm but light as a feather. I'm normally always cold, but this is so snug, even I'm warm! Went up a size as was worried about it being tight with a winter jumper underneath. As it was it's fairly generously sized, plus so warm that I don't need anything thick under it.Excellent quality and quality price. True to size. Warm and cosy. Recommend to all. Fab-u-Lou’s.
